Beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 1, 2025, until 5:00 a.m. on Monday, August 4, 2025, Kern County Information Technology Services (ITS) will be migrating Accela from County Hosted to the Cloud, and Citizen Access – the customer portal of Accela – will be unavailable. During this time, customers will not be able to apply for permits, pay for their permits online, check the status of their permits, upload any documents to their permits, or schedule inspections.
