Public Workshop: Significant California Title 24 Code Changes - RSVP today!
Kern County Public Works' Building Inspection will host a public workshop to present the most significant updates to California Title 24, focusing on how the changes impact residential and non-residential construction.
The presentation will cover:
- California Residential Code (CRC): Key changes affecting one- and two-family dwellings and townhouses
- California Building Code (CBC): Updates related to building safety and non-residential construction
- Plumbing, Mechanical & Electrical (PME): Major changes affecting building systems
- Accessibility (CBC Chapters 11A & 11B): Important updates to accessibility requirements
This workshop is intended for contractors, designers, engineers, owners, and the general public, and will provide practical insight into what to expect during plan review and inspections under the updated codes.
