Traffic Alert: On January 7, New Traffic Signal in Operation on Snow Road at Quail Creek Road

On Wednesday, January 7, 2026, Kern County Public Works will turn on the new traffic signal on Snow Road at Quail Creek Road in the City of Bakersfield. There will be changeable message signs in place for one week to help remind drivers of the new working traffic signal.
This intersection will be going from an all-way stop to a working traffic signal. Please plan your morning and afternoon commute accordingly.
